There is a general process that I like to follow to obtain our goals
Initial Consultation
• Approximately 1 to 2 hours
We meet and tour your site and discuss what you would like to see.
We talk about budget, timelines and scheduling. Once a deposit is received then I can move on to the next step.
Site Measuring and Analysis
• Approximately 4 to 6 hours
Measuring of the entire design area is done. All that exists is included and analysis of the views, sun, wind, soil and privacy issues are noted. Photographs are then taken of the site. The client does not need to be present for this step.
Base Plan
• Approximately 4 hours
Site measurements are put to paper to plot out the design site. This is the basis for the design.
Concept Plan
• Approximately 10 to 20 hours
Proposed landscape design is drafted with details on paths, beds and other elements.
Concept Meeting
• Approximately 1 to 2 hours
I present the concept plan for the client’s approval. Any changes are made at this time.
Master Landscape Plan
• Approximately 4 to 5 hours
Finished design along with the Master Plant List, landscape notes, material choices and plant information all put together in a personalized binder.
Landscape Plan Meeting
• Approximately 1 to 2 hours
Final meeting for the completed plan package and discussion of elements and plants presented. Final payment is due at this time.
